Former chairman of Shahrashti Upazila Parishad Delwar Hossain Miazi has died.

Former chairman of Shahrashti Upazila Parishad and president of Shahrashti Upazila BNP, prominent businessman and politician Md Delwar Hossain Miaji died of a stroke on his way to Comilla on Wednesday. He was 65 years old.

He was born in a big house in the 8th ward of Shahrashti municipality. Delwar Hossain Miaji was the dedicated soul of Shahrasti Shahrasti BNP. His death casts a shadow of mourning over Shahrasti.

At the time of his death, he left behind three daughters, including his wife and a son.
