Successful Operation by Shahrashti Police: Thief Arrested in Theft Case

The Shahrashti police have arrested a suspect in connection with a theft case. The successful operation was carried out with the help of local residents and under the guidance of the Officer-in-Charge of the police station, Mohammad Alamgir Hossain.

According to police sources, led by Sub-Inspector (SI) Al Amin, a team of officers conducted a raid in the Debipur area under Shahrashti police station in Chandpur district and arrested a man named Mohin Uddin (28). He is a former resident of the Suyapara area, and his father is Mohammad Ali. A case, numbered 11 and dated 24/09/2024, has been filed against Mohin Uddin at Shahrashti police station. The case accuses him under sections 461/380/34 of the Penal Code.

The police also recovered stolen goods during the operation. Mohin Uddin was later presented to the court with necessary police escort.

Shahrashti police stated that such operations to combat crime will continue, and there will be no leniency in bringing criminals to justice.

The local residents thanked the police for this successful operation and commended their efforts to ensure the safety and security of  the area.
