Preparations are underway to announce a committee of students and married students in Shahrashti

Chandpur District Day, Chandpur-5 Shahrashti Upazila Chhatra Dal Committee is preparing to announce a convening committee with married and non-students, the general Chhatra Dal leaders and activists have complained. Leaders and activists complained about this on social media.

According to the complaint, preparations are being made to re-appoint Shahjahan, former joint convener of Shahrashti Upazila Chhatra Dal, as the chief convener of the current Upazila Chhatra Dal convening committee. But rumors are circulating that she is married and has children.

Some leaders and activists of the Upazila Chhatra Dal complained that Article 6 (1) (b) of the Chhatra Dal's constitution states, "Only citizens of Bangladesh and students studying will be considered eligible to be members of the nationalist Chhatra Dal." Preparations are underway, he is not a regular student. Surprisingly, he also denied his wife and child to be on the convening committee.

However, the district Chhatra Dal did not respond in this regard. According to the latest information, the committee of Shahrashti Upazila Chhatra Dal was supposed to be formed on January 8, but in the face of controversy, the process of forming the committee is currently stalled. It is learned that a full committee will be announced at any time.
